Brücken entstehen nicht von selbst – sie werden getragen. In den Texten und Stimmen dieses Abends werden Kämpfe hörbar, Lasten geteilt und daraus Kraft und Verbundenheit geschöpft. Mit Igihozo und den Teilnehmenden der Poetry Workshops entsteht ein Raum, in dem Worte Brücken schlagen – zwischen Erfahrungen, Generationen und Zukünften. Danach laden wir das Publikum ein, auch das Mikrofon in die Hand zu nehmen und ihre Texte zu teilen. Durch den Abend führt Mona-Lisa Kole.

Über die Mitwirkenden

igihozo (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist, song-receiver, vocal coach and voice care practitioner whose work braids together poetry, music, and ritual. Rooted in dialogue with land, ancestors, and other beings, their practice explores storytelling as a space for healing, resistance, and transformation. Based in Bern, they create and perform across Switzerland while co-cultivating collective spaces such as «Held in Song », «Guayaba Portal», and «Grief Ceremonies »

Mona-Lisa Kole is a community builder and changemaker committed to social justice, with a focus on feminist and anti-racist issues. She is the co-founder of the Safer Space café révolution and active in various sociopolitical collectives. Her work draws on Afro-feminist and intersectional approaches to create spaces of solidarity, care, and social transformation.
