Am Samstagabend erwarten uns gleich zwei Live Shows im Hof des Progrs: Segen (R'n'B mit einer Prise Neo-Soul und Pop) und igihozo (Soul und Jazz). Zwei starke Stimmen, Persönlichkeiten und Geschichten, die sich auf unterschiedliche Weise in ihrer Musik verweben und uns zum Träumen verleiten. Seid gefasst auf eine akustische Reise.

igihozo means “the consoler” in Kinyarwanda. A name that at first felt like a coat too big to fill, brought them closer to finding their purpose: healing through art. Their songs are made of conversations with their ancestors, love declarations, manifestations of abundant futures and stories of their journey through the world as a shapeshifter, dog zaddy, shy quirky artsy always singing and humming f-boi fairy.

Segen. Voix douce et mots tranchants, Segen est une chanteuse autrice-interprète émergente de la scène romande. À la fois solaire, généreuse et pleine de finesse, l'artiste genevoise crée un univers intimiste et coloré, un espace de vulnérabilité et de douceur.

Sorti en 2020, son premier EP "Incipit" propose une exploration de son registre musical qui va du R'n'B à la Pop en passant par la Soul et le Rap. Dans ses textes, Segen chante des lettres d'amour et des déclarations de guerre parsemées de refrains entêtants.
