Jean Foncé (*1993) is a Black, queer, agender poet, DJ and organizer, currently based in Basel. The focus of Jean’s work are the lived experiences of Black, queer and otherwise multiply marginalized folx. Jean understands writing and telling counternarratives from the margins, as a practice of resistance. Thereby highlighting the importance of centering the voices of those who have historically spoken from that position[ality].

Jean is a member of the OKRA Collective and Bla*Sh.
